MCDP is a grassroots organization entirely run by volunteers driven by their passion to see Democratic Party values at work in Madison County, and to elect Democrats up and down the ballot. We need you to be involved to help keep us moving forward.

Canvassing
&
Virtual Phone Banking (VPB)
The most important way to volunteer is to work with us on getting out in our communities and talking to our neighbors about what is important to them. That means knocking on doors and making phone calls. Political canvassing and VPBs (Virtual Phone Banks) are the most effective methods for showing everyone that Madison Matters - this work builds personal connections with voters, increases voter turnout, and gathers community feedback. This outreach is year round work.
Whether it’s GOTO (Get Out to Organize), deep canvassing, or GOTV (Get Out the Vote), this is the work that will help us elect Democrats up and down the ballot.

Precincts are the engines that drive grassroots political work. Your precinct is your voting district, and your Precinct Committee Members report to our County Executive Committee on how the voters in a precinct feel about candidates and issues, and encourage people to volunteer and vote
To look up your precinct go to the Kentucky Voter Information Center, fill in your information, and your precinct name and number will be the first line listed in the “Your Precinct and Districts” section. Then email us at madcodemsky@gmail.com with “CONNECT ME TO MY PRECINCT” in the subject line, tell us your precinct name and number, and we will get your contact information to your MCDP Precinct Chair.
